Empowering women and restoring lives.
Door of Hope empowers women to achieve self-sufficiency through a wide range of programs and referrals. We focus on single women and mothers between the ages of 18-26, who have children five years of age and younger, who may have experienced generational poverty and homelessness, inconsistent childcare, and problems maintaining stable employment.
It is often in the darker moments, where we question ourselves and the life we've chosen, that hope can seem lost. When we don't think things can get better, we also lose the ability to even imagine the steps to get there. This is where Door of Hope comes in: we are here to eliminate barriers and open up the brighter future ahead for women who want more in their lives; women who want to turn their lives around.
We see a future of empowered women who are educated, supported, and confident to achieve their goals for life, work, and family.
Women moving through the Skills for Life 8-week program can expect to learn to face challenges with new skills and confidence.
Provide transitional housing and support services such as childcare and transportation for single mothers, ages 18-26.
Your donation today opens up a brighter tomorrow for someone who is turning their life around.
